Faces is the series of batik miniatures that have been made since 2015. They depict human heads emerging from a dark, plain background. These are the portraits of prominent figures of both polish and international world of art and culture whose artistic work or moral conduct has influenced my work. The series is both my tribute to them and the answer for my reflection on authority, values and their crisis which can be observed in Poland and in the world recently.

Twarze to seria batików na bawełnie, który powstaje od 2015 roku. Utrzymane w monochromatycznej skali barwnej miniatury przedstawiają głowy ludzkie, wyłaniające się z ciemnego tła. Cykl ten jest zarówno hołdem, jak odpowiedzią na pytania na temat autorytetu i pogłębiającego się kryzysu wartości, jaki z roku na rok można zaobserwować zarówno w Polsce, jak i na świecie.
